There was a small boy named Adil. He was a notorious boy. Adil was in class 8. He was smart but his only bad habit was that he used to waste a lot of his precious time. He used to sit idle for hours and he used to use his mobile phone the whole day without focusing on studying.

His father was a rich businessman, he owned his merchandise of branded clothes in the capital of the country, Delhi. He was a millionaire, holding a lot of money, enough to sustain himself and his family.

Adil’s mother owned her fashion brand, she was also financially independent and super-rich. She did all of this on her own, she was passionate about clothing since childhood, so she decided to make a living out of it.

Adil’s parents were immensely successful, they wanted Adil to be as successful as they were and whatever he wanted to do with his life. On the other hand, Adil thought that there was no need for him to work, he used to spend all his time on his phone talking to his friends, wasting time on social media.

Adil’s parents made him join a few extracurricular activities so that he could focus more on making his career. But he used to skip those classes and he used to have fun at that time also with his friends. He took his privilege for granted and he didn’t think that it was harmful for him to do this. He thought that this luxurious life would last forever, but fate has its way of dealing with people.

Adil had this bad habit of getting up late and reaching school late every day. He used to think that it didn’t matter whether a student arrived late or not. All the teachers were annoyed because of the nuisance that he used to do every day during the class and after the class.

One day, as always Adil got late for school, and he asked for the teacher’s permission to enter the class, as she was annoyed by him, she screamed at him and said no and told him to go back to go back to his home. She gave him an application in which she wrote that she wanted to meet Adil’s parents and talk to his parents regarding his nuisance in the class.

She told him, that she wouldn’t let him enter the class till the time he brought his parents to the school. Adil was devastated, he was in complete shock, he never thought that he would be under such circumstances.

Adil cried a lot; he kept on crying in front of the teacher to let him enter the classroom, but he was adamant. She was irritated by the stupid behaviour of Adil, so she wanted to teach him a lesson.

Adil went home, he cried a lot in his room, and his mother saw everything. She came towards him, and she started to explain to him the importance of being on time, she gave him the lessons from her story that when her orders were not on time, people used to cancel them, and she used to suffer huge losses.

Adil immediately realized his mistake, his apologized to his mother for all the mistakes that he made. He told her that from then onwards he would respect the time that he would get for everything. He started doing everything on time and with full efficiency.

Moral of the story: Time is precious and each second should be respected, and each second should be utilized wisely.
