Actor Kangana Ranaut supported Raveena Tandon after a video of a road rage incident involving her and her driver was shared widely on the internet.
Actor Kangana Ranaut came out in support of Raveena Tandon as a video of her getting involved in a heated exchange over a road rage incident was shared widely on the internet. Kangana condemned the behaviour of the women who abused and hit Raveena. She also demanded action against such unruly conduct on the road.
Kangana wrote on her Instagram story, “What happened to Raveena Tandon ji is absolutely alarming. Had there been 5-6 more people in the opposite group she would have been lynched. We condemn such road rage outbursts. Those people must be reprimanded. They must not get away with such violent and poisonous behaviour.”
In the viral social media clip, Raveena is seen asking someone ‘not to hit’, while another woman and a man face the camera and claim that Raveena and her staff have assaulted them. However, later a CCTV clip was released, which refutes the claim that the woman was hit by Raveena’s car.
The Mumbai police also clarified that the woman’s complaint against Raveena was “false”. The ‘Mohra’ actor shared the police statement on her social media account.
DCP Raj Tilak Roshan told IndiaToday.in that no case has been registered: “Raveena (Tandon) was coming home. Her car was reversing. The lady who walked past got mad at her driver and said drive carefully. The car did not touch the lady, but a verbal spat ensued. Raveena got out and got into an argument. We don’t have written complaints from either party, so there is no case.”
On the work front, Raveena Tandon was last seen in the film ‘Patna Shuklla’.
